Entry Information

Provisional Entries

Fee

$80 per club, per GymSport

Please note: This fee is separate from the definitive entry invoice and will not be deducted from it. Provisional entry fees are non-refundable, even if your club does not proceed to definitive entries.

Provisional entries help Gymnastics Australia gain an early estimate of athlete numbers and routines, enabling critical event planning, including the development and release of draft competition schedules

What Clubs Need to Submit

When submitting a provisional entry, clubs are asked to provide:

  • Estimated athlete numbers per level and category.

  • Please provide the most accurate numbers possible. Some changes are expected before definitive entries.

  • Athlete names are not required at this stage—they will be collected with definitive entries.

Allocation & Participation

  • Provisional entries do not guarantee a place in the competition.

  • Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Clubs that do not secure a place during the provisional stage will not be charged the fee.

  • Clubs that do not submit a provisional entry will be placed on a waitlist when definitive entries open.

  • Once your club’s provisional entry invoice is paid in full, your place in the competition is confirmed.

Key Dates & Next Steps

  • Provisional entries open: Early May

  • Provisional entries close: Tuesday 16 June

  • Draft competition schedule released after provisional entries close

  • Further schedule adjustments may occur after definitive entries close

 

Definitive Entries

Deadline

Tuesday 4 August 2026

All participating individuals including athletes, coaches and judges must be registered by this date. Names submitted after the deadline will be treated as late entries. Definitive entries will open approximately four weeks prior to the closing date.

Fee

$196.50 per athlete, per gymsport

    • Definitive entries open: approximately 4 weeks prior to closing
